Need Scorpion update:Battery? Salt switch?

Here are some suggestions for an improved Scorpion Gold Stinger. 1.Improve battery situation. 2. Could the threshold be made more stable? Is this necessary?
3. Add salt switch. This could stabilize the threshold in some situations! 4. Add ground grab and automatic ground balance. 5. Add preset pulltab DISC toggle switch.
6. Three tone target ID. Low=iron, Medium=low conductors, High=high conductors.

ANY MORE SUGGESTIONS, ANYONE?

What is the smallest gold anyone has found with the Scorpion? Can it get small 1 to 10 grain gold nuggets?

I hear Garrett is working on a new gold machine...(not the At Pro). I like your suggestions. With the price of gold one would think Garrett would hurry up on a new Scorpion or new VLF Gold machine, however the current version works quit nice. The threshold does what it does because it is reacting to ground minerals..all VLF's do that in hot ground...some better, some worse.

I hit a .1 gram nugget with it in Oregon at 1.5 inch locked in broken bedrock.

Just think if Garrett put some of those At Pro features in a new gold machine plus gold specifc stuff for a detector....CANT WAIT!!!

PLUS THAT NEW COIL....! OH YEH!!! :hot:
