Need some advice I'm a new Fisher F75 LTD

I have the DST mode and I just bought the DeTech 13" Ultimate DD. I need some headphones and I was wondering has anybody gone wireless and how hard is it to hook up? Is it worth it? I'm coming of the ATP, but I'm excited about Fisher. Any helpful hints would be much appreciated . thank you for your time. I MD 5 days a week so I'm ready to figure this Fisher out.

Hello Truth1253,

You're off to a good start with your F75Ltd!

Personally, I use the Sennheiser RS 160 Digital wireless headphones. At about $106 delivered, they're about the cost of a decent wired headphone, and cheaper than the Deteknix W6 Pro at about $189 msrp.

They utilize the 2.4GHz digital transmission, with KLEER technology. No signal lag.

The transmitter is a disc about 3" in diameter, and about 1" thick. I attached mine to the outside of the armcuff of my F75, which conveniently is located right next to it's audio jack. I used the removable adhesive velcro strips to hang pictures and such, without damage to walls. The velcro fastener allows for easy removal of the transmitter for charging, or home stereo/TV use. A 1/4" to 1/8 converter plug is necessary, a couple bucks at Radio Shack.

The provided rechargable battery w/charger, gives about 20hrs of use time, or you can use AAA alkaline batteries.

You can operate up to four pairs of headphones from the transmitter for home TV/stereo use, or if you take the kids or spouse detecting with you, they will hear what you do.

It has replacable earcup pads, from both the manufacturer, and aftermarket sources which keeps the cost down.

Very happy with mine! Enjoy your new F75!
