Just got a 5'' d.d.coil for 75 & 70 fishers.Has anyone ever used this coil,could use some feedback please..Thank you-cjm

I would be lost without mine. Had the 5" for many years, in fact. Although it shares time on my 75 with the stock 11" coil and the 5 x 10 DD coil, it sees action at least 50 % of the time. In heavy trash it is like a laser and gets very good depth. Enjoy, you will reap its benefits. HH jim tn

I use the NEL Snake coil which probably reacts the same as your 5" DD coil. It is wonderful in high trash areas. You will love it. Nothing is better around the edges of basketball, soccer and volleyball courts.

I use mine here on the farm around old house sites--lots of iron. Wouldn't be without it.

I used it all the time on my F70.
I could use just about any coil on mine and find things but snipers just make everything easier especially if you hunt in heavy trash and massive iron filled Whiteside I do.
I have switched over to the Nel Sharpshooter coil because I got it in a deal but mostly the advantage using that one is it is a bit more shielded and so little quieter than the Fisher 5" that found me so much.
I didn't need the Nel, I would have been very happy using the factory coil forever but what the heck, I had some credit so I used it to get the Nel if only to compare the two.

My 5" always worked great, got shockingly deep in good soil and also in the bad stuff.
Its unmasking abilities was what I depended on and it rarely let me down.
Using all kinds of settings including all metal it rarely ever failed me.
If I had to get rid if my entire arsenal of coils but only was able to keep one a sniper would always be my choice no matter which detector or brand.
Over the years they found me way more than all my bigger coils ever did.

Here is a long thread about experimenting with DP tones.
I used the big DD at first, then the concentric for one hunt and then switched to the 5" sniper so here are my impressions about how all those coils did using them.

I use the 5 inch coil in really trashy areas. Good at separating targets. I don’t think the
small coil will give you the depth of the larger coils. But it’s close enough.
