Need waterproofing help!

I want to do a simple waterproofing project. It's going to be a silver saber 2, I know its not an ideal detector to do but it's going to be for fresh water.
I'm totally new to this but here is my thought. Get an otter box and have to enteries. One for the cable and one for the water proof head phones. You will have to open the box each time to cut it on and off.
Is this a good idea? Is there a better way or box to use?
Where can I get the waterproof enclousures for the 2 cables? what are the approximate cost for these?
I have a set of garrett waterproof phones-yellow? Are these pretty good?
thanks

The garrett headphones will work and I and doing the same thing with a White's classic 1 for fresh water.
The Otter case will work up to 10 meters.I will not be going any deeper then 2 meters at the most.Good luck on your project and let us know how it is going . <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">

At the bottom under case customization. Water proof wire seals.
Good Luck,

Here another site. Nice thing about these is you can have more than one cable penetration through the same seal.
