BUT what about D and E size targets thatshow deep?
Or even if they show shallow??
Ill be hunting with another Garrett user and Ill have use

Use the larger coil for better coverage. Only reject iron. Dig or better yet scoop all targets above iron. Dig even the iffy beeps because they can be jewelry.

Thanks for your reply.. Ill use it ( i HOPE) to good advantage
If not at least i was out TECTIN and that aint bad!!!

Every sight requires different equipment (coils), settings, and techniques. You're adept enough to make the proper changes to your regimen once you get on the ground and assess the conditions. Good luck. Post photos should you find something good.

At the beach you should dig everything since it ain't much of a chore unless it's hard pack of some kind. Are you going to do any wading?

Bill.

Thanks for all the advice. No wading Uncle Not allowed
right now.

Ill let ya know what i come up with good or bad

Have Happy Safe fun hunts

As far as D and E size targets, just check what I.D says it is...usually a pop can or other crap. Your choice to dig that stuff...but make sure when you Image that it is right over target.

I get large Image like D and E target size but audio is telling me its smaller, so... I keep moving coil around slightly with pinpoint button push in and sometimes I stop pinpointing and then start pinpoint/image again at different angle, then Imaging finally comes in accurate as I'm right over target or detector figures out whats going on, at a size A or B at less than 2 inches. Seems its always the shallow stuff that does that. Esspecially crappy zinc pennies. Good luck with the hunt!!
