NEL 5x10 sharpshooter coil comment. for T2

Just Thought I would say a few words on the NEL sharpshooter coil I got from Ron at Gold Diggers a couple weeks ago.. and have to say I am impressed with the coils quality also being light weight and coil cover included.. air tested very well which = only to confidence in detector/coil as the ground is where it counts.. have already found several old coins in heavy trash at good depths....HH joe

Will admit the T2 and the NEL Sharpshooter combination is my favourite for everyday detecting over here in the UK,i am finding the signals are sharper, tones clearer and although the coil it slightly smaller than the stock coil i dont think it looses much depth if any.I can run mine fairly hot and its stable so this is why i feel i am not loosing depth.

I like the fact that its mounted on the rod in the middle of the coil, may seem like a trivial thing but it mkes the whole package much better balanced, build quality is superb although i thought the labels looked el-cheapo with low quality adhesive,so pulled them of with a short time duration and that sorted that small problem out

I highly recommend this coil as it just makes the T2 in my mind the perfect detector for my style of hunting,i feel that the weakest link in the T2 design was laways the stock coil, over here in the UK it was one of the biggest complaints so rather than buy another stock coil when the warrenty ran out they changed over to aftermarket coils like NEL or Detech have produce.

These are of course just my personal thoughts and observation regarding the T2 and nothing else.

I've heard some great things about the T2SE and NEL Sharpshooter coil combination. :)

I use the Nel 5x10 sharpshooter coil on my trashy Roman sites great results. Sharp signals. I tend to use 60 sens then 35 disc which still finds the small stuff see my post first silver hammered then I tend to use boost all the time.
