NEL coil for my new omega..............

Ivan

New member
I need a coil for hunting large dry sand beach areas,,,(think Huntington Beach California). So I'm thinking of getting the NEL "Hunter" 12.5" X 8.5" DD Coil for my Teknetics Omega 8000. What do guys think? This a good idea........coil to heavy , not right??? Other coils make a better choice? Suggestions. Throw me a bone here!! Thanx.

I have the "Hunter" on my Omega and for beach and field hunting, really like. In the dry sand you will be digging coin size targets a foot deep with the Hunter. And, it is less emi prone then the stock coils. The NEL is, however, heavier and in my opinion does make the Omega a little nose heavy. Not horrible, but you will notice it. I like the coil very much, but if only getting it for a few days of beach hunting, I would stay with the 11" DD. If you beach hunt a lot, you will like the coil. HH jim tn

JIm how heavy is the coil? How long can you go with it......an hour or two. ? I feel that the 11" DD really isn't that much more coil than the stock 10" eliptical.....that's why I'm looking at other products.

Just a bit heavier. I just swung it for 5 1/2 hours and no arm fatigue. It is a deep sucker and handles emi great. HH jim tn
