Anyone have input on the Nel 9.5 X5.5 verses the Teknetics 10X5? Depth? Separation? I like the construction of the Nel better. Thoughts? Thanks.:yo:

If you refer to the Nel Sharpshooter coil you will not do better. Its great good depth as good as the stock T2 coil with VERY good separation. I.E. I can find a Roman Sestertius placed under a large rusty nail no problem I would say in the USA a Dime placed two inches away would be found no problem perhaps closer. Very good build . I am also using the Nel Storm large coil for pasture sites

My vote would also go for the NEL Sharpshooter coil, target seperation is very good and the depth is possible the same as the stock coil, one of the biggest advantages that i find also is the fact the the Sharpshooter is mid rod mounted which does make a big differance in the handling of the detector, the stock coil is rear mounted and just does not feel right in my mind.

I would say that the Sharpshooter coil stays on my machine most of the time but ocasionally i do also bring the big SEF15x12 coil out to play on pasture sites.

the nel ss isnt as good as the tek on the g2. now on greeks it is better
