Master Hunter CXII for $125. One of the touchpads wasn't working, peeled off plastic strip, had some fine beach sand under, cleaned out sand, glued it back on, now is OK. I'll have to say this is a great detector, performance is about equal to my Tesoro Cortes except is heavier. Added an armcuff made from 1/8 inch thick aluminum, padded and covered, then screwed to battery cover. Drilled a small hole in the back of control box for charger to plug into, trimmed down charger plastic end to fit hole. Plus some other minor additions. All in all, really like the Garrett. Jabbo

You got a nice deal on that machine. I had the analog one like you have many years ago, sold it then last year got another one. I like to hunt in the woods with mine in the true all metal mode and dig everything below 3 inches. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. It was one of Charlies favorite machines. :)

I've gone through 3 of these machines and each has produced well and reliably - each was an analog. You got a good machine at great price, plus your effort to repair the touchpad now makes it fully functional. These machines have always had good depth for me. Good job and HH.
