got my eyes tested and got some new glasses. Don't know if I will keep these or take them back - thinking they will go back.
I was diagnosed with glaucoma. Apparently the degree of glaucoma is pretty steep. Was told usually it is about 30 percent in most people. I guess I am at 95 percent in one eye?????
The glasses give me double vision. Sure they help some but like I told the lady when I first put them on and noticed the double vision I said "I might be able to handle seeing letters that aren't there over letters that are there when reading but when riding the motorcycle last thing I want is to be wondering if the on coming truck that is about to hit me is one truck or a double decker bus".
They rechecked my eyes and came up with the same readings they got the first time. Told them I would try them for a day or two. They are the worst glasses I've ever had. My old one (current ones) are ok. I can see far with or without the glasses. Just needed them for reading more than anything else. (Close up).
They also said I had something embedded in my eye and it was removed but still have the double vision with those new glasses. Gee, now I see double with the old glasses and even when I take them off. I don't know if I am actually seeing double or if now I'm going psycho. Sheezzzzz.
Anyway guess I need to take the glasses back since they aren't helping me.
Sorry about the babbling but guess I needed to work it out in my mind by typing it.
At least they gave me eye drops to help treat the glaucoma.
