Because Sherry used her credit card to get a premier account with them, they used her card again without approval. The bank says if you give them permission once they always have permission. This has caused more problems than I want to talk about.

If you gave ANYONE a credit card number - even for a one shot use - be warned as far as banks are concerned they will let them overdraw your account and nail you for a daily overdraft fee....so far we are looking at over $300 in overdraft for a 45 cent negative balance caused by Classmates dot com. Not only can we NOT get the money back through VISA...remember she let them have the number and authorization one time so VISA will not put the money back as fraudulent withdrawal.

We have been threatened by the bank to be put on a list so we can NEVER - anywhere in the United States - open another bank account.

Gee, ain't satan ingenius.

Be warned.

Thanks for the warning, but I have never given my Credit Card number over the phone! I do have my Internet Cost taken out of a credit card each month and have never had any problems!

Sorry to hear this Pete and I know you and Sherry don't need this extra stress! Prayers for comfort and peace in Jesus' precious name!

She used that card last year. The year of access was coming to an end and she was going to let it expire...they took the money without asking leaving us stuck...gee I am so glad I live in America land of the rip off scams.
 
club and went to cancel the membership and for 2 years after the fact they were still withdrawing membership fees from his account. took us threating a law suit for them to stop. and i dont bank at bank of america eiTHER BECAUSE WHEN MY SON WAS BORN I WENT TO PUT HIM ONTO MY ACCOUNT AS A trustee in case anything happened to me he would split the money with my other two when they came of age. the bank told me eveybody had to be present to sign a paper saying he could be added. i asked who is everybody? should just be me and my two daughters. they gave me a list of names of people i never heard off who weaseled their way onto my account. tapped it out overdrew got an atm card and i got stuck paying 500 in over charges i didnt do. so why didnt everyone have to present for them to put on? my guess is they were illegals. we have alot of them here. i was at this bank for over ten years pryer to this happening.
 
Sorry to hear that dobbie! What people won't do to get their hands on some money that isn't theirs! GREEDY WORLD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have my three children on my bank accounts to get the monies if something happens to me! They didn't have to sign to be beneficiaries...I just gave their names and I guess Social Security #'s.....as it's been quite a few years since doing that! I deal with a very good bank and persons there and I have always been treated right! Praise God & Thank You, Jesus!

I don't like Chase, as I have Credit Card Accts with them and they do you dirty if you don't watch what they are doing! Won't go into details but I will never have an account with them ever again....after I close the accts I still have! I want to get rid of all or most of my credit cards in time......they have to be watched too closely....which makes me nervous!

I am Sorry to hear of the problems you are having. I hope the best for you. I was ripped off on e-bay about 3 years ago for $2500 and I am still waiting to get my money back from them. It was one of their employees (e-bay)and his buddy. One of the guy's was caught and the other one is still on the run. As for me, I cut up my credit card and paided the balance I owed and shipped the card to the company with a nice letter of what they can do with my card. And have never had a card since. Bottom line for me, I will NEVER have another credit card again. Hope all works out for you. Joe
 
neither the bank or classmates.com would like for the public to know that they are going to go ahead and charge the overdraft fees or that your card was used without your consent!!!!! contact your local tv news, newspaper and see if they will help you get this resolved.
