My new AT Pro arrived -
Its going to be a little bit of a learning curve, so I hesitate putting my Ace 250 aside, but there are so many features that I do like about it, especially the ability to know frequency.
I took it out to my usual haunt - a park down the alley from my home - and found a Timex Watch - about 4 inches down. I took it home, and washed it, wound it and it started ticking.
That does tell me something about the watch age - there are not many self-winding watches around anymore. By depth I am saying it was lost at least 4 years ago and could have been longer - (it was no longer in the root mass). I was impressed. I guess all those "takes a licking and keeps on ticking ads" from the 60s were really true. Every other watch I've found has been totally corroded and garbage.
