New Coil On The Way !!

Well-known member
Very excited !!! Ordered my new 6" HF DD Coil and lower rod last night and it should be here for the weekend. I really miss the 4X6 DD that I used on my Prizm 6T at my local park. I have tried the 5X10 in the park and even with lowere sensitivity settings it is very hard to separate targets the way the 4X6 did. I am hoping that the 6" will solve that issue. I don't know what kind of depth to expect but I hope that I am able to unmask a few silvers !!! I would appreciate some feedback on what kind of performance to expect from the 6 inch. I know that it has become the favorite of many 705 users.

Please post your findings and opinions after you try it.

It's a very good coil. Pinpoints dead center easily. Goes deep and cuts a nice thin slice for separating trash.

I cant't wait to see how it does for you. I will be wanting one of those for Marsha's 705.

The 6"DD is one of my favorite coil.
It has what I think very good depth.
Have used it on some big fields with great success, even if
it doesnt cover

I believe it would but I don't do prospecting at this point or water detecting. I basically am a coinshooter and usually do not dig for gold unless it falls under the nickel or even zinc range. Not patient enough to find the gold but to each his own. I know my limitations and I'm okay with the consequences..
