New coil

Hello all
Received my new 10.5" MF coil the other day and had a chance to get out to a local soccer field for a couple hours today. I'm new to detecting but I realy like this coil. I dug up a handfull of clad and got my first silver dime and also my first ring. Picked the dime up at about 7" with a strong signal. Realy jazzed about this coil. Sorry about no pictures, not set up for that yet. Love the advice I get from this fourm.

Congratulations on the finds!
Good that you like the new coil too! That is one that every Xterra owner should have.
In the UK, it is the stock coil that comes with the machine now.

I am using this coil all time with my x terra and it s depth is amazing even in a high mineralized ground. I usually run 16 - 20 sensitivity without any problem. imagine if the ground is low mineralized.

cypearl, the DD type coils work great in the high mineralized ground but not so good in the low mineralized soil, the conc coils work better in that type of ground.
