I wonder if the higher frequency coil for the X-terra will be smaller, say about 5". Would really shine in the trashy areas.
 
no the 18khz coil is exactly the same size as the standard coil bought with the xterra .
 
A higher frequency is not what you would want to use in aluminum trash if given the choice. A 5 inch 7.5 kHz would be preferable. Hopefully they have one on the drawing board @ Minelab for both X-30 and X-50 machines. Agree that size should be excellent in the trash.....
