New Collar on New Coil

I just had to send my 11" teknetics coil in for repair, they sent me a new coil.
The end where it screws into the box is a little different ..it has an extra rubber sleeve that encapsulates the little yoke with the tiny screws.
I know one of the members here ( i think it was jim tn) lost one of the screws...well it can`t happen on the newer coils ends...good idea ...and proves Teknetics listens to us.

You are right, I did loose one shortly after getting the Omega. I now check the screws every few hunts, but sounds like the problem got solved. Thanks for posting that info. HH jim tn

By looking at the picture they added heat shrink tubing to the connector, available in the electrical section at places like Lowes, Home Depot, Radio Shack, Harbor Freight, ect.
The problem adding this ourselves would be a piece large enough to go over the connector won't shrink down enough to fit the tail and the short length of cable, so to get the correct size of heat shrink on it the connector would have to be removed and the heat shrink slipped over the cable, then the connector soldered back on, then slip the heat shrink in place and shrink it into position.
