General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

new ctx on the, way from big boys hobbies

Well I have a ctx. 3030 on the way ordered it from Bart at big boys hobbies he was vary help full and a pleasure to deal with and I got vary good deal it will be a lot different then my mxt and my at pro I have been reading a lot and watching videos can't Waite till it gets hear may be Friday ore Monday I'm. Sure I will have a lot of questions I hope all you ctx pros don't mind AND A BIG THANK YOU TO BART AT BIG BOYS HOBBIES
 
Diggerdic, where are you located? I just got my CTX a month or so ago. I to have an MXT and the AT.Pro. Love them both. The learning curve is a little steeper for us that have no minelab experience. Make sure you put gonehuntingforhistory's combined tones program in your machine as soon as you can. The standard coins program kind of drove me nuts.

You will find the CTX a much deeper machine than the MXT or the Pro.

I have not found a lot of silver coins in my hunting. In the past 4 weeks I have found 3 half dollars (that rare in it's self), 2 mercury dimes, a silver ring and several wheats with the CTX. Needles to say I'm a happy camper.

I'm certainly no expert with the CTX, but any help I can give, just ask. Lots of very knowledgable folks on this forum that will help. You might want to get a copy of "beach hunting with the ctx3030. It is 20 times as informative as the owners manual.

You will be pleasantly surprised at the great balance of the CTX. It is a heavy machine, but you can swing it for hours with little fatigue.
