New Detector Purchase

I am going to be purchasing a new detector soonand want to get one that will be excellent in fresh water and will do fine on the east coast in the salt water. I may also be doing some travel to Florida. I would like one with silent search and discrimnation capability. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
