F.T. coming out with any new detector(s) in the next few months?

F.T. Has the same motto apparently. The long awaited new platforms, capable of things not previously done in metal detectors did not appeat in 2016. Whether they will appear in 2017 is something which perhaps even they don't know at this point.
Even after the design is done and hardware produced, lenghty engineering testing is required in order to ensure that the field performance of the detector measures up to it's promise.
In some companies, marketplace or finiancisl pressures might cause something to be rushed out the door - with ugly results. Apparently F.T. wants to avoid that.

There are some hints...
On other forums Keith Southern posted a pic of a covered up new detector he can't talk about yet, might be an FTP product but nobody knows, and Hunter GT posted a vid of a tour he took of the FTP facility.
Many areas he was not allowed to film but he indicated there is some pretty cool and secret future stuff they showed him while he was there that they are working on.
As always it is now a waiting game as most companies won't talk about anything new till they are close to releasing it.
Might be an interesting year coming up.
