Keep digging. It might be a spike from a gold ladden chest!!....:) All kidding aside, you are just getting started with your new machine and I predict that many great finds will be coming your way. HH.

great going divi996tt.clean her up with electrolisis.paint it flat black, hang it over the mantle,.you got bragging rights.plus keep all the old tools you dig up .they make great keepers and make small talk.good luck in the future.:jump::clapping:

You might want to put your first find back. It's a cool find but it looks like a property line stake. I could be wrong but it's just an observation. Good luck with your hunting endeavors.

Looks like a swing arm to a '57 Chevy..in other words, I don't know. A big metal spike about 10" long could have been used to hold down something big. Must have gave you quite a signal.

Wonder if this was the property marker,or a big bolt that steel workers use for reveting steel together with,If all else fail's.It's a big @#$%^%^ BOLT

Thanks for all your ideas. At first I was a bit shaken , cause the night before I was watching Omen Part 3 and when I was digging, it look like one of those daggers in the movie that were meant to kill the antichrist, LOL.
I'm digging for more findings.
