New Gear on its Way!!

I finally got to order my Garrett Pro Pointer it should be here tomorrow from Kelly Co. I also got some new head phones to try out. Just wanted to tell someone that understands my excitement lol HH

That Garrett Pro Pointer will serve you very well! Just don't drop it on a hard surface (concrete) like I did on a detecting trip in England one time!! It quit working and I did not bring a back up. I panicked and I took it apart and discovered the on/off switch is just a tiny little switch with a little plastic clip holding it all together. Try as I could, I couldn't line up the tiny contacts inside and ended up crazy gluing the whole switch together to make it permanently on and just taking the battery out to turn it off. It worked for me until I got a replacement when I got back to the U.S. It will take a lot of punishment BUT I am very careful I don't drop it!!!!

That sounds like something that would happen to me but at least you fixed it so it was useable thanks for the heads up ill be careful not to drop it.....did you find lots of cool stuff in England?

Some times they get quirky and a new battery will fix, but doesn't always last. I now put a quarter under the cap to put more pressure against the battery and so far that's worked just fine.
