Hello fellow treasure hunters ! Pretty new to this forum. Just bought (2) Minelabs at Cabelas a week ago. Bought a X-Terra 705 Gold for myself and a X-Terra 505 for my wife. Those were the only two they had in stock and being the impulsive persons we are we bought both of them. I want to give "Digger" a very big THANK YOU for sharing all of his knowledge about the X-Terra's and making the E-book for us beginners. It made all the difference in the world. After reading the book a couple times I went out to my yard to practice and I can't believe all the coins I found just in my own yard. The next day we went into town and started looking on the boulevards by old houses that were for sale. In only two hours I found 13 pennies with 2 of them wheaties (1944s & 1953) 8 Clad quarters, 2 Jefferson nickels, 4 clad dimes and my first silver coin, a 1939s Mercury dime...whohoo!!! Again...thank you Digger and others for really shortening the learning curve enough to get a good start in this hobby. I am definitely hooked!!!

Welcome
