New Minelab Customer Service

Not sure if anyone else has received the email from Minelab talking about their new customer service or not. About 10 seconds after I received their email I called them up and the phone was answered on the second ring.

The gentleman on the other end was very polite and I feel will resolve an issue that I have been trying to contact them about for a little over a month. He gave me his direct dial number and said "call me anytime if you have any problems". I figured that I would share that number since it sounds like they are trying to turn over a new leaf.

They have got great machines, but great product with bad service (especially in today's economy) will break their company. It's fix it or close the doors. I really hope they pull it off because I would hate to have to find another detector company.

I also talked to Joe Bonham yesterday when I called Minelab for some info that I looking for no one answered it was a recording said to leave message and someone would get back to me as soon as possible I never left a message on that number, so I call I the other number that Minelab as on there web site again no answer but this time I did leave a short message about the info that I was interested in and to my surprise I got a call from him with in 10-15 minutes and he researched my question and had the answer I was looking for, the funny thing is that the first time I called and did not leave a message I was on my house phone the second time I called from my cell and that is the number I asked him to call me on so after our conversation it was not 10 minutes later I got a call on home phone and it was Joe not realizing it was me he had just talked to we both laughed a bit, he was returning a called he missed that he seen on his caller ID. I myself have never had a problem with Minelabs costumer service but that's just me. I would not hesitate to call him again!!
