New MXT

Well I've been a long time XL Pro user. Also had an XLT. Just got an MXT. Like new still in box only used for about 9 hours the guy said. He still had not even put on the rubber base stands, velcro straps, or arm cup rubber. Also came with a bullseye pinpointer. For 400.00
Not a bad deal I thought.
Hopefully I will get the hang of it.
Will be taking it out for a spin teusday.
Is it a lot different than the XLT?
Will post up my MXT finds when I get some.

Great price and yes it's much different than the XLT. He may have had the same experience as me when I bought mine 6 years ago. I put it together, scanned the manual, took it out and I was like, oh man, what have I done, snap, crackle, pop, chatter etc. But I gave it a fair chance. Went back and read and asked some questions and haven't tried another machine since that I would replace it with. Grab the MXT EDGE, it's a must for any MXT owner.

Your first good find with your MXT was the price you paid for it! That should be a sign your going to have some good luck with that machine. And I agree with Tin Nugget pick up the MXT EDGE its a book by Jeff Foster. It has allot of good facts about the MXT that the manual does not cover.

Yes, it's a book. You found one heck of a deal and you'll find many treasures/coins with your MXT to pay for itself many times over and over. Best of luck and can't wait to hear about your outings. We've got a group of people that are top notch here and always ready to help. HH to all, Nancy

Another good source of MXT information is Chris Ralph
