New rechargeable Battery explorer II

Has anyone purchased one lately? Was thinking of getting an extra one, looked around some but to no avail, thankssss scott.
 
My two cents...

Though I do like the all-in-one rechargeable pack idea, I think the best alternative is to just use the the battery pack with your own rechargeable batteries. That way, if one of the cells goes bad, you can find the bad one and replace just that one instead. I think my current rechargeable battery pack has a dying cell which doesn't seem to hold its charge well and since I started using the battery pack with NIMHs, the pack seems to last alot longer. It is a bit of an outlay but you can always use the batteries for something else.
