Just traded a competitors top of the line relic machine for a Safari. Hope I made the right move. I will try and put on some post when I get out with it. Any suggestions on the best way to hunt with it would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark

I also sold a competitors "top of the line" detector for the Safari.

I been out with mine several times and I am happy with the machine.
It's nice to know that a powerful machine like the safari is easy to use. I use the
coin and jewelry settings (factory default) and have not had to make any other
changes. The sounds are different and takes some time to get use too but
I think you will be impressed with the machine.

Hope you have many good finds!

Good luck with your Safari . Had mine just over a month. One thing I had to do is slow down a bit.Once you do you will see how great it is.Had to learn ot dig deeper, I'm about to make me a new digger, with a long blade.I'm very happy with the Safari.Should never need another machine.Still learning the songs but getting better every time out.All your old spots become new again.. Have fun!

I really like that you can access the different modes from the control panel, instead of digging into the menu all the time. Should be close to Etrac depth, but a simpler machine. Of course its supposed to rain here all weekend. Mark

Hope you find a ton of Silver... Keep us all posted please............I have an XS on a Whites rod.every once in awhile I get the urge to trade for A Safari..
The simplicity is pretty good and easy to operate on the BIG S.

I went out with the Safari tonight again. Found the usual clad and some junk pretty deep!

I am also getting used to the different tones and yes ..... I noticed that the Safari works best when
you slown down a bit.

Still using the factory presets (coin and jewelry) ! Easy to navigate the menu system is a
big plus!
