Finds from my first couple of initial searches of ploughed & seed drilled fields First time there i decided to search parallel to the road, then on the second trip I searched the fields perimeter. after looking closely on google earth historic view I have noticed some building shape shadows in the dead centre of the field, So thats my next starting point. Finds so far a few baldly worn coppers of George III =late 1700's & mainly buttons n metalware of late1800's with two early lead buttons/dress weights & a lead token. Plus bits of the last century.Only relativley modern find was a 1962 Queen Elizabeth copper Penny. The F4 worked silently no chatter for most part,But certain areas needed a drop in sensitivity as chatter became an issue. So not a bad start, I have 2-3 weeks or longer if no rain before the shoots of his crop start to show, AsI told him I wont go on again till his crop is harvested.

Happy Hunting
