new site to hunt

Something I learned recently. If you have a gps in your car,The kind that gives directions. where it says where to go. Punch in recreation. Then all. I am finding parks I never knew of. Today about two miles from my home I found what looks to be a very old park. It has a sign that says ------park. Looks like it has not been used in years. No table or anything to suggest it to be a park except the sign. I hunted about an hour as I needed to do other things. I found a lot of bottle caps and round pulltabs No square pulltabs at all. Also no coins yet, but it is about an acre and a half. Hopefully some older coins next time.....Jack

Hey Jack --

That's a pretty cool tip. If you start finding old parks that no one knows about, I may have to take a short drive south, cross the Red River, and see if I can't tag along with you!
