A good friend that does excavating that knows a lot of big farmers in a couple counties north of me has hooked me up with a bunch of new house sites to hunt. Now the race is on to get them hunted before they get planted. This site was on the 1865 and 1874 atlas but gone by 1909. The only trash was a few lead bullets and shotgun shell bases along with a little bit of brass. Swinging the WS6 master adds a lot more time to hunt for this old guy.

Nice. I always thought about having an excavator i know scoop out buckets at construction sites and level them out while i scan them real quick. Never got around to it though.
The first layer they scoop would have the potential for stuff and set to one side. I doubt much would be found over 36” lol.
