New T2...is it fake?

just got my T2 today...one of the dealers on the forum hooked me up real fat...cheap deals going on..just got to look...anyways did some air testing against the ltd and am getting 1/2 " more on depth..with a dime and 3/4" more on a nickel....picks up real good on a small thin gold chain,which my ltd wont...gonna get it out in the dirt tomorrow and see how it does..p.s...can anyone tell me what i should look for to see if this is a fake? thanks

Well, first off, if you got it from one of the regular dealers here on the forum, I doubt that you got one of the fakes. The ones here are not usually ones you would have to worry about. AS to checking, the easiest way to check is to check with TEKNETICS. Call them or email their support and have them check the serial number on your machine. THAT is the quickest and easiest. And then appoogise to the dealer here you bought it from that you doubted them. As I said, the dealers who are on the forum here are legit. They have been here for a while. Also, from all indications none of the fake ones have even hit the US yet.

Or did you just getting worried after reading the posts on forum.. Sounds like it is hot . Is it LTD or Standard T2 model.... Myself I used a T2 and it was much better than my F75 on coin targets.. More stable too......... Most likely no Regular dealer here would sell fake units...if you bought from an unknown take goldchasers advice and call Fisher.... If it's as hot as you said and it's a fake..LOL " Man, I want one too", LOL
