I Took the t2 out for it's first hunt today.I want to be comfortable using it for my November organized civil war hunt. I was using the 5"dd coil in a very trashy old house site. I have detected this spot before with a cz and 5" coil, and a Gamma 6000 and 5" coil. The amount of tiny low conductive targets I missed was pretty impressive, bird shot my first boot tack, bits of foil, rivets, etc. I think it has more sens than my whites pinpointer on tiny targets. I can see how this would make a good gold nugget machine.I was using the start up program, with sens bumped up to 70 and 2+ tones. It was amazing how it does in the iron, and just like the manual says it tended to "up average" some of the non ferrous targets. As long as it lets me know they are there,I don't mind. I can't wait to try it in some "jewlery" spots, and trying the delta pitch when coin hunting.I am going to get comfortable with default, before using boost. I used a friends older green t2 a few years ago in Culpepper VA,and really liked how it handled those bad ground conditions. Great machine so far.

Congrats on the T2. I've had mine for 2 years now and it's my go to unit. What kind of depth and targets were you getting in that Culpeper soil with the older T2? I will be going on an organized hunt up there soon. Thanks.
