Is this "Bounty Hunter Platinum" a prototype for one of the new
Teknetics models?

The Platinum I believe is currently available at Cabela"s only. The three new Teknetics may have similar circuitry but I don't believe the Platinum is a prototype for them.
 
cabellas has exclusive rights for a time on the platinum, i would like to try one, looks lighter than the t-2, and the little Andy talked about it, sounds great. i guess when they come out this summer we will find out, mabey some mod or updates will have been done by then, still dont know what the opperating frequency is for sure
