A long awaited new machine being made by Tesoro specifically for the UK market will be available in about 2 weeks.
A re-vamped Lobo ST called the Wolf Trax...
The detector dealer Crawfords and the offical UK repairer Pentechnic have put their heads together and come up with the "Wolf Trax".
The machine is Lobo based, but benefits from improved discrimination and sensitivity.
The tone has also been dropped a little to enhance those fainter siganals. The lobo has just evolved for UK use or to be really naff one of the best just got better!!.
The production model will fitted as standard with the 8.5" widescan coil (better depth) but all other tesoro coils are still compatible(high frequency four pin).
It will be ED-180, the biggest improvement is the tone, its only been dropped a little but it takes out the really high pitched scream i.e. signals close to the surface or large iron so they are a lot more readable.,the VCO 'Viip' is retained simply because of the information on can glean from it.
Colour is black because in UK we like our detectors black - (part of the national heritage like fish and chips or marks and Spencer - we just like it that way!)
Personally I cannot wait.
