New to finds gamma 6000 user

Howdy all! I'm from the texas Hill country, Bandera. I have my gamma for about 8 months now. My ground here is highly mineralized and I could never get a proper ground balance. Thanks to this forum I finally got it to balance, 40- 43. Use to just turn my sencetivity down to about 60 65 to get it to shut up. Now I can run about 80 to 85 and its smooth. Thanks all I'm now finding coins at 6" to 8" the most I could get before was 5 to 6 using the stock 8. I started detecting with a discovery 3300, I did pretty good with that machine. I'm really impressed with the gamma's recovery time. Can't wait for my next hunt, think I'm going to love the gamma.

got in a 2hr hunt had a lot of fun ..the gamma 6000 is a good md i hade a g2 at one time so i have something to compair it to i was useing the 8" coil the depth was good .. its lite..its fast..id the target well..has a 1/8 jack and 1/4 jack for head phones..ground grab works well...pinpoints easy and fast ...it was a litle noise but not bad i think a dd coil will help hear in nw ar it ground ballince at 60 so i will add a dd coil the 5x10 or the 11" dd to sum it up i like it .. hear is some uf my finds silver ring and gold ear ring with stones
