Hello to you all.

New to the Garrett forum.
But like to show you some of the things that i have found with my Garrett gti1500.
I have only been metal detecting since May 08.
Early Bronze Age axe. Between 2500 and 4000 years old
Umbonate Roman Broach circa 1st to 2nd centuary AD.
Constantine 1 Circa 307-337 AD.
And i have some Hammered coins of Henry the 2nd 1154-1189.
King John 1199-1216. And Edward 1 St [Longshanks].

Keep at it. Maybe some day you'l! find a keeper.

What are the old English hammered coins made of? I'd like to see pics of them if possible.

Chris

Some real old finds.
Congratulations..

Here are a few pics of the hammered coins I said I would put up.
They are King John short cross 1199-1216
King John short cross cut halve of the scarce mint of the Rhuddlan mint .
And a short cross cut halve of Henry the 2nd 1154-1189
