hi got a explorer II yesterday hopefully i can go out and get some old deep silver. been detecting for over ten years and lurking on this forum for a while checking out all your cool finds. i"ll probably have some question's and post some cool finds to. thanks lazyaussie

Its always great to get a new member to the forum, I think you will find that you found a good one. theres a lot of knowledge about Minelab and metal detecting here. If you have any qhestions just ask and someone will answer. I had grand plans of hunting a good spot lived on since the 1890's today but after the chiropracter I have had a icepack on the back all day and plus it hit 91 deg. F. today here in Puyallup Washington. Are you from Down Under Australia?

yes i live in Victoria Australia. took the beast on its maiden voyage today found some oldies a 1962 sixpence ( first silver for this one ) and a 1961 half penny and a pile of junk. this site dates from around 1840 and the oldest coin i"v found is from this park is a 1835 silver sixpence. most of the coins come from the 50s & 60s as there was a scout jamboree in 1964. I've detected this park with a ace 250 so hope to get all the deep es with the exp II. thank for the replies.
