New To The AT Pro

Well, after some thought, I finally decided to give the AT Pro a try. I've had alot of detectors in the last few years and try to stay at 3 that I can use at different sites that I relic hunt. I think the AT Pro will work well in my line-up just fine. Went to a camp that I have pounded hard for the last 2 years with my local dealer. I used the AT with the 5x8 and the 8x11 coils, set to pro mode, zero. I like to hear the iron when I get into a patch of it. That means that past hunters have avoided it in the past. I found most of the items, including the Seated 1847-0 Quarter with the 5x8 coil. The ground balanced at 80 and it was moist after some rain we have had lately. The the pinfire shell had the most depth at 8", the Quarter was at 6".
All I can say is the AT likes lead & brass alot!! With all of the high tech detectors that are being released lately, the AT Pro for relic hunting is alot of "Bang For The Buck" Not to bad for the 1st time out with it and only 4 hours to the hunt. So, with that said, I will be hanging out here for awhile and post now and then.......MO

That would work for me - great looking seated and infantry button!!
