I just received my new Deus today, can't believe the weight of this machine. Took a day of vacation Friday just to get out and give it a try. I do have a question about how the remote mounts. I struggled to get the small plastic cover off the remote mount, after I finally removed it the remote slipped on real sweet. It fits so snug and tight it doesn't want to come off. I'm afraid of breaking something to get it back off. Any secrets on a simple way of slipping the remote on and off??

Grasp the handle as if you were hunting, then push up on the remote with the fleshy part of your hand that's between your thumb and index finger (forefinger)...use your other hand to guide the remote off its mount. Easy peasy. Congrats on the new Deus!
Bill I just got my Deus and same thing! Man that thing is tight! I do wish they have like a cam lock for that as well because I get the feeling if you remove that remote alot it will wear the plastic eventually. But you really have to push straight in line with the mounting surface for it to snap off.

I was afraid I would break something the 1st couple times I did it.I always grab the handle like I was detecting,Then use my thumb to push up on the cap to remove it..I also remove the Remote the exact same way<otherwise it feels like it is breaking .If you need a Video demonstration Let me know,Id be glad to do one for you.
