I received one from the Post Office as change and I asked for a dollar bill instead.
The lady just smiled and said 'way to go' , so she had read this e -mail.
Please help out..our world is in enough trouble without this too!!!!!

I had seen this before and knew it was not true. Check snopes.com. The words are on the edge. I am glad it is false!

Yes, the In God We Trust is around the edge, but whether they hide it or remove it...........GOD IS STILL GOD and I for one will still trust Him! Same as when a man and woman are married to each other and one throws their wedding ring away or hides it doesn't change in any way their marriage vows and wedding certificate! Praise God from Whom all blessings flow! The harder anyone tries to get rid of Him, the more He will be testified to in more ways than one in Jesus' name! If you have one without In God We Trust around the edge it is a mistake coin. This is the how this whole thing started, with the mistake coins.

However this type of vigilance is a good thing.

Yes "In God We Trust" was put on the EDGE of this coin.

It was an honest mistake by me as I got an e-mail forwarded to me lately and posted it. I will never post information like that again without checking it first. I think someone may have missed the edge inscription by mistake, and may started this rumor, as it is hard to see on the edge which is easily missed not being on the either face.

OR as Jeff(TURNMASTER) said, small quantities of these coins were missing their edge inscriptions "In God We Trust" due to minting errors and this could have also started this rumor.

Maybe something good came out of this because it shows people will stand up for their beliefs. We do not want the government to give up on God in some of their policies. We should not keep God on the 'edge' or back burner, but rather keep Him on the 'face' and forefront of our lives.

God without Jesus Christ does not work:

No the Bible is not corrupt and has not been changed, the Bible is the same as in ancient times as the Dead Sea Scrolls(found in a cave in Israel) proved. Jesus Christ IS THE Messiah and not a prophet. When different religions believe in God then what is their gain if they reject Jesus Christ who is the Way, Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ. There is no other Name under heaven given among men that we can be saved by. If a person does not believe in Jesus Christ he is already condemed. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, whomsoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
