Well, new coils as standard with multi frequencies..

I watch with interest.

I hope that the battery is in the shaft as with the High Frequency coils.

For the time being Iam happy with the H/F coil. Jerry.

Lol I John st got a HF coil then these come out lol

I now see that the batteries are back in the coil.

What a loss of a great innovation. Jerry.

Yeah I think really like the HF battery setup. But the originals lasted a very long time

no reviews posted buy testers. Surely Gary-B has tested them along with others in the U.S.

I'm gonna pick up the 9" and I've just sold my 9" HF since I never used the highest frequency 54kHz so the new coils will eliminate the HF for me.. not for the gold hunters or maybe die hard relic guys.

i would need to see a shootout between old and new coils..i think xp should be looking at a deus mk2 by now as the gubbins are pretty old now

Interesting speculations, I think we need to clarify, the new X35 coils are just an updated black coil.
You have a better choice of frequencies, but they are not in competition with the HF coil.
A few years back we updated the original black 9"coil, now we have a further advancement.
That's it really no need for hype, it's just moving forward.
Thanks for your interest.

Gary, hoping you will post a new video about what this is all about, the merits of upgrading and the best approach with our older coils. Love XP it’s like getting a new machine every couple years!

What new with the updated coils? any lighter? J/K lol..

Loved my Deus with the HF oval, but it's going to take some really big advances to trade my 800 back to a Deus. Not saying it isn't possible tho!

LolI' I'm the opposite I like my 800 but my Deus is my go machine for silver! and deep silver to.

theres some frenchy videos on utube with tall claims on extra depth

We are working on a video now, if you remember a few years back XP upgraded the original Black 9" coils when they released the new 11".
This was because technology and production techniques had advanced within the factory.

The X35 range is the same scenario, personally I have found them more stable at higher sensitivity, just like the white HF coils.
Depth
That's a tricky one because in theory better stability will allow you to hear smaller signals.
So far tests on my soil is showing the X35 gives a cleaner signal when the original black coils are on the fringe of detection and giving a scratchy sound.

My soil at the monent is like concrete as we have not had substantial rain for weeks. I am not not finding a huge depth increase in the field.
However I was impressed to locate a 30mm copper coin at 15" on our static test bed. (Shown on video)
I look forward to hearing what results you guys are finding with the X35.
