New Years Day

Happy New Year
The detecting on New Years Day was a bit slow but I managed a silver cross, a lead or pewter Queen Victoria Jubilee medal for 1887 and the normal collection of bits and pieces, including several deep coppers from the early 1900s.

I experimented a bit and established that with my settings the depths on clear signals was about the same in manual or auto. However all the "iffy" signal completely disappeared in auto so the chance of really deep finds is reduced by at least a couple of inches.
Regards
Fred
