newbie looking for past chart of Ferous/conduct for coins

Have a SE and getting to know it. Lots of fun but am looking for good chart with the estiatmed Fe and conduct values for various US coins ( I live West of Detrioit MI if is makes a difference). I lik3e the smartfind as a beginner but think the values would help me get even better.

Only finds so far are 4 pennies from 1968 up and a 1989 Nickel. Hard to find good time without my kids along which makes detecting very difficult but better than no hunting (kids are 4 and :geek:

Any other good past learning forums or lists to suggest would be very helpful. Mainly looking for coins but have some possible Civil War mustering areas I hope to try also

Thanks in advace,

there is a post in the minelab explorer "classroom" forum dated nov 14th with more than a few people writing in with their charts... they helped me get started.. happy hunting.

Another thing you can do which helped me much was go get some coins from a coin shop or bring your machine in with you and ask if they would mind you scanning them. That way you can get an idea of the tones they make and somewhat of where they'll show up on the screen. It is not perfect mind you, in the air those coins will give slightly different results in tone and location on the screen because their signal is not being influenced by the soil. and YES your soil matters, trash next to the coins matters, hell, I have seen time of day matter. So remember, nothing is exact, all numbers and charts that you'll see will be with degrees of forgiveness. And if your new SE hits in all situations at the same spot on the screen, every time; regardless of soil, electrical, trash, or moisture influences....I will buy it from you for three times the price you paid. Happy hunting, See if you can't find an experienced explorer user to go out with.

Hi Robo, If you don't mind, I would love to have a copy of your chart & your opinion on its accuracy verses crosshairs.

Thanks
