Got out to a small park today. 45 degrees and lot's of sunshine.
Second time out with the 250. I would listen to the tones and then look at the screen.
My wireless headset worked great.
Nickels and pop tops were a challenge, but the dimes and quarters were easier.
Total count: All clad
2 quarters
3 dimes
3 nickels
5 pennies
1 old style pull-tab (still intact) I did guess it as a pull tab by the length of the pinpoint.
1 rusty nail. Showed as Iron and I wanted to see what it was.
1 piece of jump rope with the handle. It didn't ping but was in the hole with the nail.
2 pieces of aluminium (1 S shaped gave me fits showing as a nickel, pull-tab, penny) from different directions. And I couldn't get it pinpointed at 6".
1 silver cap from a tooth, found under the swing.
Hey, it may not be Pirate loot but it was SURE FUN AND EXCITING FINDING IT. Made this old guy feel like a kid again.
