Newbie to site and a first for me

Hello all - I'm in NC and its pretty lonely around these parts when it comes to detecting. Can't seem to find anyone with the same passion I have for the hobby.

Anyway, I've been detecting about eight years. Started with a White's Classic III and recently purchased a Minelab X-Terra 50. Have had lots of success with both.

I was recently in Mt. Mourne, NC and asked two elderly sisters if I could search their property and they gave me the go ahead. I'm glad I took the time. Found my first ever BF half dollar. (Actually, it was my first 1/2 silver anything! In the same hole was a 53' quarter, a 45 Merc, and a 35' Buffalo!) Made it all worth while.
