Found this in a Maryland Park today. I was told this park was hunted out. So I put on my 15" WOT and 5 min later this is what I found. 15" WOT never fails.
 
That is a Fantastic Find John! I just don't see how anyone could have missed that one. It only looks like it was about 3" Deep. I guess you had Lady Luck with you today and I hope you find a few more treasures at that Worked Out Park. Good Luck and HH.
 
Your Right it wasn't that deep because there was a large rock beneath it. I am Still amazed at it's condition. I found one last summer in a different area, and all you can make out is the outline of the head and it was badly pitted.
 
I am not sure why this one has such little wear. I have,and my partner have found others and you can barely make them out because of the Pitting. Thanks
