Nickels on the ID or prizm series, how accurate are they?

Just wondering how accurate the target id is on nickels on the prizm or classic ID, IDX series detectors is? Some of the other detectors I have tried it has been awful. The notch seems so wide you end up digging a ton of trash along with the nickels. The CZ3D and explorer are the only two detectors that I have tried that seems to correclty ID nickels beyond a couple inches while leaving out most of the trash. Just wondering how the whites do in the nickel department. Thanks.

I haven't used the P6t but the others are in line with the other single frequency machines. Today I dug a Buffalo Nickel that hit solid as a zinc cent. Nothing else in the hole or around it. Go figure?

Also the ID, IDX and IDX pro will give you a solid nickel block with a ghost flash in foil on a nickel. This was always my clue to dig.
