NiMH Battery Total Life

I just passed 200 hours on my first set of 8 NiMH batteries. 2500mAh Energizers. Depending on how I hunted they averaged about 20 hours between recharges at the start of their life. Battery meter would be 3-4 bars at this amount of usage. Now I am getting about 16-17 hours between recharges and the battery meter reads 2-3 bars. If anybody has kept track of how long theirs lasted before needing replacement please let me know your results. Total number of recharges is 14 which includes initial charge and most recent charge this morning which I have not yet used.

I have 8 Nimh batteries in my other brand detector. The battery meter never reads 100 percent full charge as it did with regular batteries. I charge after each hunt and even with that the meter drops down a little after one hour hunting, then it stabilizes. It always has enough power for any hunt. My batteries are charged without removing from detector.
