NJ beach booty today

Hit the beach for 4-5 hours today. My buddy got all the gold today...I got the silver. Here are pics of his nice finds. 14K shell bracelet, 14K mans ring ( really big...weighed 11 grams) and a 14K ring with hopefully real diamonds ( got to get that diamond tester).

Hello therover, looks like you had a great day at the beach. What machines do you and your buddy use?

I use an Excal 1000 and he uses a Sov GT. We have found that the Minelab machines work best on the salt beaches of NJ. We have used other VLF machines and although some are very good on the beach
( particularly the multi freq machines such as the DFX and Fisher CZ's ) the Minelabs are more stable, null iron and seem to work better.

I have found gold with all of my machines, but not as much with the Excal...plus it's waterproof so I don't have to worry about my clumsy butt dropping it in the water.
