I could take no more of the Upstate NY winter so I drove down to the Atlantic City NJ area beaches for a couple of days detecting. It felt good to get a detecting fix I tell you. Here are the finds, scratch a gold ring off my 2005 wish list!

That is sure a pretty ring Charles. Glad that you got something nice. I know you were looking forward to coming down here and glad that you could take something back with you. HH
 
Nice find Charles, I cant wait to find my FIRST gold diamond ring. Seeing all these good finds on the post is killing me. What machine do you use and do you like it.
Also where "upstate" are you? My family is originally from the Whitehall/Lake George area.
Hopefully you will have another ring before to long. H.H.

Thanks! I used the Explorer this trip, I took the Excalibur along but it was too windy and cold to think about wading in the ocean. I'm near Albany, Lake George is about 45 minutes north of me.
 
Charles, we're going to have to raise out tolls if you keep taking our goodies! Very nice find.
