no back light for any of theTeknetics?

I have the F-75LTD and has display back, I was thinking to buy the omega 8000, but I think it doesn't have a back lite,

no back light for any of the other Teknetics?

JMaryT is referring to a Headlamp that fits on your head. Has a Head band that is adjustable for size. It can be turned on and off at your pleasure Sir.......

I have a friend who gave me one, and I use it a lot on night time hunts.

"headlight" with a strap!..i got one,and they work great!
they are adjustable,and you can shine the light right where you need it!
home depot has 'em,and i think wal-mart too!..check the sporting goods section!

I use a light that clips on the bill of my hat. I dont care about a backlight on detector...i still would need a light to see to dig. And to find my goodies. I also have the light that has a strap. Those are also great. My t2se is by far the best detector ive ever had and not havin back light dont change that.

I have a Fisher with a backlight and a Tek without and while the majority of the time one is not necessary, the Fisher is the one I grab when I know I will be hunting in low light conditions. There is reflection glare and blind spots when ever I have used head lamps and as far as needing a light for digging, the Pro Pinpointer I have works quite well for that with its little light. Although not a deal breaker, I do wish my Omega did have a backlight. Just my inflated 2 cents worth. HH jim tn

The wife used to worry a lot when I wasn't home when it got dark and between that, the mosquitos , gang bangers and muggers it's really not a good idea to be out at night around here.So
the T2 without a backlight works for me .

it doesnt bother me and i only detect in the daylight hours but some some guys work the night shift ,so its a buying issue when you decide what you want. my major no1 issue is a light machine .
